Aisha Saran is a Philadelphia-based actress and writer. For several years she has pursued the craft seriously and has appeared in various theater, film, and television projects, including on BET and TV One.

 

One of Aisha's biggest passions concerning the entertainment industry is the representation of black women and black story-telling as a whole. She is currently in the process of filming her first independent film "Kitty U", which parodies a world with reversed gender roles. Aisha loves acting and writing equally and is working to launch her own production company called "Saranvision".

 

In addition to this, Aisha occasionally does print modeling for local Philadelphia photographers and organizations. Aisha is very passionate about her craft and impacting the world through artistic expression. She believes that there is plenty of talent in Philadelphia and what people need the most is access and opportunity.
